The 3D Watch Configurator is a proof of concept that turns product personalisation into an immersive, real-time experience. Users can customise their watch, explore every detail in 3D, and view it in augmented reality—all through a sleek, responsive interface for seamless interaction.
Behind the experience is a dynamic and efficient web application built to balance performance and beauty. The 3D watch models were crafted and optimised with care to retain realistic textures and finishes while ensuring the experience remains lightweight and fluid.
The configurator allows users to explore three different watch models, choose from a range of case colours and bands, and see their unique combination come to life instantly in 3D. As users customise, the watch updates
in real time, both visually and with a calculated total price, creating a flow from exploration to completion. The journey concludes with an augmented-reality preview, allowing users to view their personalised watch in their own space.
Every design decision prioritises clarity, elegance, and usability. The interface scales seamlessly across desktop, tablet, and mobile screens, and includes both light and dark modes to match user preference and ambient lighting conditions.
The configurator features three distinct watch models, multiple case colours, and a curated selection of bands, giving users hundreds of combinations. As shoppers customise their watch, the 3D model updates instantly alongside a live, dynamically calculated price — guiding them naturally from exploration to purchase decision.
